Short Form Horror

The Spook & Hallow: Tales of the Macabre

I LOVE horror movies and in July of 2022, I decided to start experimenting with making my own. "Tales of the Macabre" is the result of that experimentation and marks my foray into the world of short-form horror filmmaking. Drawing inspiration from David F. Sandberg, I aimed to craft narratives that are tight yet unsettling. My taste in horror tends to lean towards horror that thrives on building an atmosphere of dread rather than relying on gratuitous shock and gore. I also am not a fan of neatly tied endings in horror, so when making my own films I shied away from that deciding instead to conclude each film with a somber note.

Game Show

The Spook & Hallow: Don't Get Spooked (DGS)

"Don't Get Spooked" is an improvisational storytelling game with a narrative that twists and turns based on generated prompts every 3 minutes. I concieved of and designed the game at the same time I developed the other shows for the Spook & Hallow YouTube channel. Reality Show

The Spook & Hallow: Local Haunts

I developed "Local Haunts" as my way of exploring one of my very favorite types of shows, GHOST HUNTING shows! With a cohost and a camera man we visited different supposedly haunted locations and ran our own amateur investigations of those locations in an attempt to find tangible evidence of the supernatural.

Trellix: Smart Tips

Trellix Smart Tips is the spiritual successor to the FireEye Tips and Insight series short form info series. The series was rekindled after FireEye became part of Trellix in 2022. Because Trellix did not have an on site studio like FireEye, we had to be creative with production. Using my own personal studio equipment, purchased for use as CCO and Director of the Spook & Hallow, and an empty office at the Trellix headquarters in San Jose as well as templates and audio choices from Storyblocks we created a pilot and 32 episodes of the Smart Tips series which is set to be released on YouTube this year.
